Our Story
VITAL TMS started as an idea in Spring 2022 when Josie first heard of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) as a treatment option for depression. Having battled severe post-partum depression and then recurrent depression, Josie began learning about how she could get this treatment for herself. With no TMS services locally she eventually traveled out of state where she underwent a course of TMS treatment and began seeing life changing results. In her words:
“I became a participant in life rather than an observer. It was so much easier to get out of bed each morning.”
She shared her experience with family, friends and colleagues and learned that many would be interested in this treatment for themselves or someone close to them. In Summer 2023, Josie and her husband Curt decided to move forward with bringing TMS to Sheridan, WY. They partnered with NeuroStar and are eager to bring this treatment option to the people of Sheridan.
